DIN Pockets on EK

Are the DIN Pockets the same for the one by the cup holder and the ove for the radio?

The reason I'm asking is because I have a CD Deck in the one up top and my factory tape player is just sitting in the one by the cup holders. I want to get rid of the tape player cus its useless and put in a pocket.

Anybody done this or know that I need?

The honda din pocket comes in two sizes..

1 full DIN space.

3/4 DIN space

1 full DIN with cover..

I'm gonna guess you need the 3/4 one..

Yes it's the same size. I have a honda din pocket off an teg where my cassette player used to be.

Tons of info on Honda-tech.

Ya, Honda has them. Not sure what the cost is but it's not that much. I bought one years a go and it fits perfectly. See if you can get a pocket that doesn't taper the deeper it goes. Mine becomes slightly narrower in the back. I can't put cd cases there because of that reason. Hope that helps.

I'm more concerned about the mounting of it. I need to know if the screws line up. In fact, i don't really even know how they mount...

I think i might just grab one from Parkway, then i know it'll work

the screws don't mount up. I had to drill two self taping screws to from the inside of the tray. Once you take your console apart, you will understand.

I think the reason the holes don't mount up is because the pocket is from a teg. If you get the civic pocket it will be a very simple install. Good luck.

I just put a 2002 RSX cd player down there, and I put gauges in the stock radio location.
