Deck wiring was hacked

Deck wiring was hacked

Well i just bought a civic 92..si and i pulled the deck out and the wiring is just hacked...i dunno what goes where...what can i do???

i want the old standard honda plug back so i can just shove in my deck...btw the one that was in there didnt work eather...the deck is good tho

well go to a scrapper and take out the harness off another car, thats what i did, or hardwire it directly to your deck... PM me if u need any help

how far back can i go with the wire harness far back so i can rejoin all the wires...like can i pull it up through the top and join them caus its cut pretty far back...i cant pull it out

depends...how far back it is...i agree get a new harness...try and take out the other wires that you need...you can unplug it somewhere...

their is a spot on the main harness i can plug in a new stereo wireing harness??

keep going back there should be a main plug that connects into the harness i think...

find a wiring diagram for your car, it will tell u which wire is which and rejoin them.

im just gunna go 2 the wreakers grab a plug and just solder the wires together....

i hate when this happens! if you cant find a harness at the wreckers (which i think is the best thing to do) your going to have to hardwire it...go to 12volt.com and you'll find the diagram for your civic there...good luck P.S..ALWAYS disconnect your battery when screwing around with any wires, use common sense

the only thig I see wrong with that (disconnectig the battery) is you are not able to trouble shoot the ignition and constant wires....(unless you get the diagram) I have always used a multimeter just my 2 cents.

you make a good point civic_prodigy, but just to be on the safe side and aviod a blown fuse..disconnect the battery
