i think u might be able to get a replacement face if you call pionerr for a price though and I don't think it will be cheap, worth a shot, if it was a low end pioneer then youre better off getting a new one

I dont know if you can purchase a new face......if it was that easy then there would be no point in having the face off feature because thieves could just steal the unit and say they lost the face and get a new cd player for fairly cheap. Doesnt hurt to call though.

Well I know with my Clarion deck, when I thought my faceplate screen was messed we put my buddies faceplate from his deck (exact same) and it worked.

Dunno if that's normal....hehe

You can get replacement face plates. You will probably have to go to the place you bought it or an authorized dealer.

From what I know, you are able to put any faceplate on any other cd player that is the same make and model. When I had my faceplate stolen off my alpine cda-7893, I bought a faceplate off someone who had his cd player stolen, and it worked fine. Check online classifieds, they're usually pretty cheap. That's how I got mine.

What is the model # of it?
Depending on what kind, the faces range in price. The older style (ie 3400...etc) should cost around 100. The higher models with the OEL screens cost a fair bit more.
You can call Pioneer's tech. dept. give them the model of the deck and they can send you a faceplate. They can also give you a price quote right on the phone. I know this because I have lost a faceplate and had to replace it. (Well actually I didn't, I just bought a new HU but called and they gave me all the info)
Call Pioneer and they'll hook you up, it's simple.
Here's the place you can order online, they may have what you're looking for

Or trying calling them, here's the number 1 (800) 421-1404

How much did it cost you, if you don't mind telling us? I have been told it costs almost as much as the deck in many case.

Thanks
