Installing a JVC SX980 on a 94 Integra.

I have 2 unknown wires comming from the car . One is Red w/Black Stripe and the other is Yellow w/Green Stripe

Also have 2 unknown wires from CD Player. One is Orange w/white Stripe and the other is Blue w/White Stripe (It has a warning sign on it saying remote output only)

Where is the Fuse for the CD Player and the clock located?

I have connected these wires:-
1) +12 Volt Ignition Wire: Yellow w/Red Stripe from the car to the Red wire of the stereo.
2) +12 Volt Battery Wire: White w/Blue Stripe from the car to Yellow wire of the stereo.
3) Ground: Black to Black
4) Right Front Spkr(+): Red w/Green Stripe from car to Gray of stereo
5) Right Front Spkr(-): Brown w/Black Stripe from car to Gray w/Black Stripe
6) Left Front Spkr(+): Blue w/Green Stripe from car to White of the stereo
7) Left Front Spkr(-): Gray w/Black Stripe from car to White w/Black Stripe
8) Right Rear Spkr(+): Red w/Yellow Stripe from car to Purple of the stereo.
9) Right Rear Spkr(-): Brown w/ White Stripe from car to Purple w/Black Stripe
10) Left Rear Spkr(+): Blue w/Yellow Stripe from car to Green of the stereo.
11) Left Rear Spkr(-): Gray w/White Stripe from car to Green w/Black Stripe

one of the wires left over is for a power antena if you don't have it ,... just wrap it and leave it ... i can't remember what the other one was for.

I believe the other one is for illumination, but you don't need it. Your deck will be illuminated all the time

Okay, so the red w/ Black Stripes from the car is for illumination and is not necessary.
The second wire from the car is Yellow w/Green Stripe and that is for Power Antenna???? I dont have a power antenna, so i dont need to use it, right?


Now the extra wires from the cd player. I have an Orange w/White stripe wire , and i no clue what that is for. Anyone what this wire is intended for??????????
And the Blue w/White Stripe from the CD Player has a warning sign on it saying remote output only, i am guessing this is for the remote control, and i dont have to do anything to it.

The blue/white is for an amp.

your life could have been so much easier if you just spent the extra $20 for a wiring harness adaptor

but any one know where the fuse for the Clock and the CD Player is located?? in a 94 Teg
What kind of fuse do i need?

ugh... are they not saving? you could have some wires mixed up... the yellow and the red if I'm not mistaken.

Bought a new fuse, and everything is working good, but the right front spkr is f***ed up, guess i am going to have to buy a new front spkr. Any recommendations on what brand to buy?
