Talking Buying DLS UP5 5 1/4 comps

This week I should be getting my e8a sub , as well as getting the DLS UP5 2 way component set !
I'm getting an amazing deal on these, paying $378 + tax ! ! !

Cant wait to install these components, using my Zapco AG350.

^^^ hater ! LOL

who cares, leave him be.... he's just letting the world know he's a big baller

so the CRX is slightly rusty... I'm sure if he wanted he'd fix it and pimp it out. I respect ppl with cool old cars done nicely. I don't respect just any gimp with some old rustbucket.

In Fact I do... so people wont attempt to steal your car !

Toronto + Montreal are 2 cities where car theft is very very high !

If I wanted to at this point, I could buy a 1993 ferrari 348, but I choose not to.

you think anyone would attempt theft of a 1993 ferrari 348? it'd be too risky to try to sell parts when there are only like 100 of these cars in Canada they'd have to be idiots to steal something like that.

Actually they would probably just ship it out of the country, this accounts for about 60% of where cars end up after being stolen. Anyways good luck with you component rob, let us know when its all installed.

yeah, but to ship a 1993 Ferrari... WTF is the point? Why not just steal a 2000+ to begin with.

Who knows, 2000+ means they would most likely have to deal with ignition kill setups etc. Older cars are more likely to be stolen these days. After reading some info, pretty much someone from another country will be interested in a car and will contact someone in canada to find the car and steal it. Then the car is shipped out with the other thousands of cars uninspected and the seller makes a TON of money.

kicks arent just for competitions man, most of the time they will provide a better sound stage if placed correctly. If your sticking the speakers in door then try to seal up as much of the door as possible and put down atleaast 2-3 layers of sound deadening. Dynamat is pretty expensive why not check out some other options?

Where on the door are you going to be placing the tweet?

Either just above the mid speaker, or have a bracket going right over the woofer with the tweeter on top of it.
You dont want the tweeter to be placed far away from the midbass, or else it will separate the sound too much, so I hear.

dont place it over the speaker, that might not work out to well. The best idea for you is to hook it up temporarily and place it in different positions and see which sounds best to you. I would say place it higher on the door or in the sail panel. Just try a few different places before final installation.
