box size?

box size?

is there any benifit to having a larger box? i have to 2 10"s in a huge box. and i want to make tow seperate pods for my hatch. would doing this be of any benifit to me other than trunk space?
the company say's 0.6 cubic feet is recomonded.

If you have a huge box and the specs say 0.6 cubic feet then your box is too big. The bass might not rumble as much but it will sound more like what the subs were designed for with the correct box size.

i just wanna have more room in the trunk and still have my bass! i also have never worked with fiberglass.

The infected one is alot better and they moved the IV out of my other hand to higher up in my fore arm yesterday so I have most movement back now.
Fibreglass is not that hard it can be a pain and time consuming. Your best bet sounds like a combo of MDF and FG.

Most of the time the manufacturers give you a range of box size to play with.

I know in JL's manual they have a couple different box setups for their woofers, Db, Normal, Purist etc.

Usually the larger the box, the low the bass will play, making it sound more natural. You gotta play around and see if you want to compromise with a smaller box and see how it sounds.

I never seen them but I remember he telling me about them. Yeah the premier were supposed to be some nice subs.
