Armrest for 96 civic HB CX?

Hey, does anyone know if the armrests out of the 99-2000 civic sir will fit in a 96 civic hb? I hate not having an armrest to put my elbow on. If anyone can give me some direction in where to get something like this as well that would be awesome!

Yeah it would fit but the colour might be off depending on the colour of your interior. You should be able to find one in the classifieds, there is always someone selling an armrest.

the coupe armrest assembly is longer than the hatchback's , it is not possible to clip the rear part of the armrest/storage onto the floor.
regardless, the thing should stay on with just the two screws at the front near the shifter area. it will not be a snug fit, and you'd be able to move it....shouldnt be more than $80 used.

I hear only the front 2 screws will mate with the hatch's interior.

I have got a dark gray from a SIR and it fits fine in my EK Hatch.. Just make sure you get the rear bracket to mount the armrest properly..

yeah, just grab the bracket or do some slight modifications and bolt that thing right in there. once its in, its in anyway. plus, it would be sweet to have an armrest in a hatch!
