i got some important info from theother post i made;thanks
bu i was also wondering a few other things. Will a 99-00 centre console fit in the 96-98 dash? i knbow the vents will not line up, but will it fit? or will i have to chop down the vents or anything. I know the 99-00 vents are on the right more due to the climate controls on the left side....but i was planning on moving my climate control piece from my 98 to the glove box and having the 99-00 centre console so i can put a screen in the middle (using the cd/storage gap underneath the cd area) It seems like a **** load of work to do the whole swap with the blowers and vents and all that stuff. any suggestions? i just think it would be cheaper than having a custom centre console made, but i think thats what im gonna have done inthe end.

imo, waste of time
i would just do the 96-98 to 99-00 conversion, it'll be easier than what your considering.
