Lightbulb Amplifier connection problem..

Hi everyone,

I just want to wondering if I extend the factory harness wire and connect to the Amplifier without connect to the deck. Then use the RCA cable connect it from amplifier back to the deck. Will it be ok? Or I must put in a new set of speaker cable from the speaker to amplifier?

Thank you!

you can go either way.
i'd prefer running new wires.

Thank you for your suggestion....but I just too lazy to uninstall the door panel.....

Also, I had a question. If the internal amplifier of CD deck was dead, can I just connect external amplifier and make it work again?

Thank you!

you should be able to just hook up to an external amp and have everything work, provided the internal pre-out amp is still good..
your wiring idea will work, but either way you're running rca's anyway so why not run new speaker wires as well..
you can get the door panels off in about 5 minutes each side

new wiring is better

the stock stuff is too small and will not hold allot of power well

although running new wire is easy, sometimes fishing it into the doors and through the OEM snap connectors is a PITA
