i contacted the guy about the piece... he said he'll get back to me soon.. if he doesnt then im screwed.. this part is useless

you gotta buy the whole peice, i have the same problem but my spring is gone, so i can still open and close it but everytime i close it i have to reset the little plastic locking peice.

how hard is it to reloacte the deck, i want to do it for theft purposes. what are you going to be putting at the top?

i wouldent have anything to put at the the top other than my tape player, maybe my moms amber crv cd player which i put in her 99 civic sedan.

Yeah the thing won't stay closed on mine either. But you can be creative and try to fabricate something for it. Monster garage style.
