Question 95 Civic Si Seats --- WILL THEY FIT A '89 Civic Hatchback ?

Hey Everyone...

I would like to know, if my stock '95 Civic Si Coupe seats will fit into an '89 civic DX Hatchback... If not, then what parts do I need to buy, or what rail swaps will let me fit those seats into an '89. If you do know the answer to this question, then also please let me know where I can buy those parts, and how much will they cost...

THANKS IN ADVANCE

The seat belt latches are mounted to the floor on your EF...

They are mounted to the EG seats..

Check to see if they connect upto your belt first...

I believe the rail spacing will be an issue...

RAIL SPACING...

Is there any way to buy a converter kit, that would enable me to fit those seats in an '89 Civic Coupe, or do I have to drill holes in the '89...
Would it be possible to just switch the rails from the "old" '89 seats, that are coming off the car and put them ont the "new" '95 seats to make them fit, or is that impossible...

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Peter

P.S. - (as you can see I'm desperately trying to fit these seats in an '89 Civic hatchback

It is doable you just have to MacGyver new mounts.....

Hell Dented stuffed GSR seats into his 4th gen...

Not much difference...

RAIL MODS...

Would it be the easiest to keep the '90 rails in, and fit the '95 seats into those rails, or to put the '95 seats in with the '95 rails, and drill the holes.....? I have no clue how to go abaout doing this... Please tell me what I would have to modify exactly to fit the '95 Civic Si seats into a '90 DX....

THANKS

Peter
