I have a 91 Civic HB DX Winter Beater.

I wanted to replace the 2 front seats but I can't find any okay looking seats that fit the car mounts for the rails.
The rails are different from the other models.

I wanted to stick in my old 95 civic seats but they won't fit.


Does anyone have any suggestions?

get 90-91 Si seats, I think they're much more comfortable than your dx seats and all of the 92-95 si/dx/cx seats

i put teg seats in my car and the rails were easy to fabricate. a trip to home depot and about 15 bucks

your 5th gen seats will fit, but will require a custom fabrication job on the rails.

put a WTB in the classifieds for 4th gen dx seats.

or go to www.car-part.com and do a search in ontario for seats.

If anyone here has a 91 Civic DX and managed to change seats please let me know what kinda are easily swapable.

I was at the junk yard and it's too cold to check 1000 cars for bolt patterns.

crx seats DO NOT fit only civic seats fit properly can be either ones dx or si i had a pair of dx seats but traded them in plus cash when i got my si seats. Si seats are very good for support range from arounf 200 to 300$ for the two fronts. Make sure they are from 88 to 91 that's it, nothing else will fit without having to mess around with making custom rails and all that crap

Hi,

When you say fabricated... Does this mean that the rails were custom made?
How strong is the work and durable?

Are the up for sale and do they look better then original nasty looking DX seats?
