6th gen e-brake handle how to take off?

I've heard you just twist it off its just really tight cuz of a glue type compound they used and I also heard it won't come off unless you cut it and pry it off.

Someone must have taken theirs off.

Use a saw. This what me and friend had to do to get the stock one off in his 93 Civic.

It is possible to "yank" it off but it's very tough. What I did was wrap the handle with a thin crappy towel and put vice grips to it. I did this just in case I wanted to put it back on IF I sell my car. It will take sometime this way but it will come off.

Thanks guys i'll try the vice grips before cutting her off never know if i'll need it again. Now if i'm turning it are there threads so I should be turning a certain way or is it just like glued on there so twist yank do whatever until it comes off?

Yah, just twist and turn and pull and yank It will eventually come off.
