Where do you guys get your Exhaust work done?
#22
I went there a couple times when i bottomed out and put a pin hole in my exhaust. Guy knew me/my car and fixed it for free.
This was on centennial in hamilton/stoney creek.
Good guys there, good work.

I agree, I've been there several times (Mississauga location) and have had no problems. Very nice guys to deal with. Excellent work.

one word of advice when it comes to exhaust work, only go to a professional shop that ONLY do4es exhaust work, most likely you will need experiance of a shop that only does exhaust work because there is 80% chance you will need some custom fitment, and regular shops will fk everything up, im talking from experiance, because when i had an EF i got people comming to my civic almost evrytime i stopped to ask me for my exhaust set-up, and after a while i got sick of people telling me it sounded sick.
moral of the story, get a good job done once and you will always have that.
what ever happens get mandrel bent pipe if it requires custom fit, never use crush bend, if you do, you might as well quit smoking and start lighting money on fire.
if you get a kit, then the cheapest you are looking at is at $600 just for the kit and maybe $300 more for installation, if you are doing your own thing, get a performance cat, & muffler, get custom mandrel bent pipes, and that should run you $240 for the exhaust install plus pipes,$230 for a good brand name cat,$120 muffler,$70 to $120 for a resonator, so around $590 to $600 for a really good custom exhaust kit.
what i like about custom exhaust, the sound becomes a surprise. what i usually do is listen to cars with single parts i.e header only, or muffler only, and then choose the best sounding products out of them all in all brand names on that one car, and put them together as a custome kit, and most of the time you will get an over all best sounding exhaust, plus power gains are even better.
if you will just throw on a muffler, please save the dow.
good luck.

They fab'd an exhaust for my old GTI in under 30 mins, no problems. Went back a few years later with a different car, also no problems. This is the mississauga location.
