I have a 1997 Honda Civic LX for sale, in Toronto - GTA.
Mileage: 257000km
Engine Size: 1.6L D16Y7
Asking price is $800
Hey im selling my 1997 Honda Civic. The body is in bad shape so im selling it to be used as a parts car. But im not parting it out, as i want to sell it as a whole. I figured it would be a good winter car, The transmission flares lightly in third gear due to a burnt out filler plug seal so it looses compression, apparently it happens in alot of these honda automatic transmissions. The body barely has any rust. Not sure if it will pass safety to be driven. It has a basically brand new alternator, battery, front pads, front tires have about 65% left. Rears about 40%. new fan switch, thermostat. It has ABS, Air Conditioning, and amazing heat. The fuel gauge doesnt work due to an electrical problem in the cluster, but i have a 2000 Acura EL cluster with a tachometer. So all you need to do is swap over the mileage and it will work. I have all this stuff because i got it as project car, but i grew outta the import scene and decided to get a grand prix GTP. But it runs and drives fine, im only selling it as a parts car because it looks like it went through a war. Im looking to get at least 750, but any reasonable offer wont be refused. Pioneer 6.5" 3way front speakers (not sure of model, but i paid $135)
JBL GTO series 6x9" 2-way rear loudspeakers, pretty much brand new $ 280
Brand new in box set of four Tein S-Tech Lowering Springs for this car. $350
2000 Acura 1.6EL Automatic Cluster with 103,000KM.... For broken gas gauge. paid $100 at carcones last week.
Second Valve Cover for motor, ones Vtec, the other says Honda. Worth like $40
$25 book for honda engine swaps and market value of honda parts.... not important.
