Hey...I have a stock D16Y8...eventually it'll have intake/header/and exhaust....I was just wondering if adding a fuel pressure regulator is a good idea or not. Im guessing that a FPR is only beneficial if you have engine mods like cams and gears???

In one word ... No

A FPR is a tuning device. You only need a fpr when u have a f/i setup, or are going n/a and have the neccesities first. If you decide to go naturally aspirated...then cams would be the heart of ur setup. Focus on getting the cams and cam gears first b4 a fpr.

I don't know if having one gave me any extra power, but it was great for helping me pass emissions.
