Stiffer engine mounts help reduce wheel hop but transfer more vibration into the cockpit.

I believe it could still be made to fit

imported_plzbeleiveit 19-Oct-2006 12:58 PM

engine mounts already done.

imported_ERTW 19-Oct-2006 01:21 PM

remove #2 cylinder spark plug wire

Nova_Dust 19-Oct-2006 01:45 PM

Tires not gripping also contributes to wheel hop, especially in wet condition.

imported_plzbeleiveit 19-Oct-2006 01:50 PM

dry condiition on drag ratios at the track i get some good wheel hop

Nova_Dust 19-Oct-2006 02:11 PM

mm...

Strangthen up your rear trailing arm bushing so when you launch, the car won't tilt as much up front, to get more tire contact patch down.

Traction bars? I have the same problem with you man my car wheelhops like mad and it hurts my heart when it happens.

imported_mikepasini 19-Oct-2006 05:52 PM

yeah man, its jokes when Bryce's car does it... he jumped a pothole one night... dropped it into 2nd and floored it... coolest thing i have ever seen.

imported_rhd_ef 19-Oct-2006 06:01 PM

imported_plzbeleiveit 19-Oct-2006 06:03 PM

imported_mr red 19-Oct-2006 08:17 PM

www.etdracing.com they are 299 and they work excellent

imported_eth0r 19-Oct-2006 10:22 PM

edt is the way to go

zeeman 19-Oct-2006 10:32 PM

i guess when ur making 214whp on a stock block b20vtec its hard to get traction eh.

I'd try the bar from ETD racing.

chris_si98 19-Oct-2006 10:37 PM

so wait a minute zeeman.. your saying if i dremel my 8.8:1 CR pistons down to cut valve reliefs for my monster skunk2 cams i can hit 214whp?! wait no.. wasnt it 160whp? or 180whp? possibly 185whp?
