What Suspension Is This??
I have a 2000 DX Hatchback, when I bought my car, the previous owner had already lowered it, so I know nothing about the make, and set up of the suspension, it looks like it can be adjusted though?....if any one can help with some information, it would be appreciated. I only have one picture right now...not sure if it will be of any help so if you need more just let me know.

Height is non adjustable...But damper is. You can turn the **** on your struts to make the ride smoother or tighter for better performance.
Also to check make of springs...you can look at the spring and it will have a make on it. But iam still going with Eibach.

really unsure about the springs ... is that drit on them? or are they painted black is there any writing on them? is there any coloured paint on them (as in Markings ... my stock springs came with a purple and green or brown stripe on them at one end of the springs)
they look kinda like cut springs to me.... but thats just my opinion..

first you did say you just got the car ... and since your asking about what suspension you got on it, it sort of paints a picture of unsureness which leads me to believe it could be anything
they do look like stock springs ... (in my own opinion...) according to the picture they are black and wire used is pretty thin... since there's a drop it leads me to believe some of the spring has been removed... remember I'm basing this entirely on one lousey picture... most aftermarket spring manufacturers paint the springs various colours to appeal to the rice crowd...anyways the cut spring thing is just a guess I'd know more if I got up close and personal with your springs....
and for the record I ride on properly modified springs... (but I'm not going into details)

Where did I say 'I just got the car'? I bought the car from a friend over a year ago?, I have trust in him that he wouldn't cut the springs...or at lease tell me if he did. But they just as well could be cut stock spring (I don't know what the stock springs look like) but I hope not or I will have to go have a talking with him.
Its just some dirt/crappy picture. I didn't get a chance to take another picture/look yesterday so hopefully today I will....

easiest thing would be to just ask your friend since you are able to have a talking with him...
BTW something about that spring, it doesnt look like its seated correctly on the strut... looks like its sitting to the right alittle bit... Which could be caused by a poorly cut spring, or a careless install...
If its not OEM them its probably eibach

y do u say this, becuase the springs r black?
h&r make black springs gold line are black springs etc, mine are red i have skunk 2 race springs, but ur prolly rite everyone buys eibach because they think they are the greatest.. imo they are **** the spring rates are wayyyy to soft for me i like my 500 front 450 rear.

My educated guess.....
I downloaded the pic from first post, and inverted the colours and it looks to me the springs have red in them cause the colour matches more with the struts than the tires.
Program used...lol....ms paint.

BTW spring rates do not make a spring ****, its personal preferance and different suspension tuning... Not everyone wants a daily driver that rides like a Lumberwagon...
Maybe im just getting old and cant handle the rough ride anymore, but ive swaped out my 450lb springs for a Prokit, and found better ways to improve handeling without useing excessively stiff springs.
BTW Eibach is far from ****
