What Ist The Best Swap For A 92-95 Hatch?

What are the best options for a swap with a 92-95 hatch.
What is most sutible for the car, can build A LOT of power good price ($5500-$7500) and is practical?

and if i get an h22 do i really have to loose the power steering?

I WANT TO GET IT TO 220 240 WITH ABOUT THE SAME ABMOUNT OF CASH $5500-$7500

Can someone also maybe take the time to tell me the best upgrades to get the motor it the 220-240 mark and how much on average it would cost to get it all done at once. And if you know someone that can hook me up large that would be sick too..thanks for your time

The best motor is whatever you can afford.

For a 5th gen the best motor is any b series motor.

To get into the 200+ HP range you'll have to boost the motor. You can boost any b series motor, but an LS (b18b non VTEC) turbo is the most common.

B20 turbo would be killer....but the block would have to be sleeved first.

WEBSTER: check your PM.

hmm Id' say start with a ls swap...sassafras (sp) on this board has been tryign to sell his for real!! cheap liek 2500 bux with the hard to find gsr tranny...that woudl be a amazing deal that motor is nice and fresh and looks brand new...then you can spray nitrious or boost it to get soem real power down ..liek 230-240 whp easy...ls swap hands down for the best starting base

and make sure you can stop before you go fast...

2500 for a ls swap with gsr tranny then you got adn extra 2500 to play with...that's a good start on a turbo kit...another 2000 and your will be bosoted easily....
