hey guys i was wonderign what i cna do to make my lil stock si motor faster...108hp stock.....wooohoooo.....lol....so far all its got is headers, high flo cat and a muffler with a aem c.a.i....whats this so called "mini me' and what doesit consist of and how much would doing this cost me?.....also how much nitrous could this motor handle safely?...but i def wanna oput a vtec on it, and i dont wanan do a swap b/c i dont got that kind of money right now to be spending 3500 for a b16,plus this motor only has 80k's on it.....so what all can b done to this to make it a lil quicker?

time to upgrade the fuel and spark you've increased air flow some I'd also suggest an Intake manifold and larger throtle body ....

corey, add maybe a vtec head from a y8 96+ el/si
will give you around 130hp, port and polish the head....
adj cam gears, install the 6th gen intake manifold (y8)

WTF upgrade ingniton for what reasone..?? and throttle body and intake manifold upgrade why...that's liek over 1000 bones for maybe 2-3 hp.??? anyway enough of the mindless advise you basically have to call around and see what a shop will do it for I'
m guessing probobly 3-500 bux...if you do that and spray it I'm sure she will probobly blow because a mini me boost's compression into the mid 10:1's...if you dont' have money to rebuild your motor dont' bother with n2o, jsut call around to shops like ksr or altech..they are affiliates so.....jsut call it's will take 5mintues outta yoru time and you will actually get a real world figure on price...if you keep it stock and spray it will take a 50 shot fine anything more woudl be pushing it try to get a wet kit...

stock engine, no head swap : get a good fuel pump (mabe a 255LPH walbro), FPR, bigger injectors and some non projected type pluggs, 65 Dry shot will be safe, 75 shot somewhat pushing it...stock fuel system 50 shot no more, no worries...

keep taking stuff out of your car (for weight reduction) until you save enough money to swap the engine... thats your best bet instead of wasting money on the current engine.
