Wastegate Line Hookup Help

Hey guys/gals.. Installing my turbo today and got everything almost done but the damn townpipe is giving me a problem but will get it done. I'm stumped I really don't know how the hell the wastegate is hooked up. I have following,

External Wastegate
Manual Boost Controller

I just dont know how to run the lines. Do I tee the top nipple and the bottom nipple of the wastegate? After that do I run that to the controller and that to my cruise control vaccume line? Help me out guys?

Maybe someone else can confirm this.

But i think with an external the extra nipple on top is for a ELECTRIC boost controller. Since you are using a manual one, connect the vaccum line to the side of wastegate. And connect that line to a vaccum source.

Will the cruise control vaccume line be good enough for this setup?

I have never used that line myself....so i really cant say.
Vaccum manifold (or logs) are a good investment at around 40 bucks.
Each part that needs vaccum gets a good source. Also cleans up engine bay.

I source my vacuum direct from the intake manifold, then it goes into your MBC, and then it goes into the bottom hole of the wastegate, top hole stays open.

yes he can.. but there is a on-going dispute about why you should or shouldnt tap your BB.

imo.. there are many of different lines from your IM you can tap..

cruise control, fpr, pcv

it's a spark plug protection boot used on old pushrod V8s with headers. available at NAPA for about $20 a pair or so.
