If you drive the car "normally" I would suggest an OEM clutch.

You'll have no surprizes that way.

I have a centerforce dual friction clutch in my turbo cavalier project car....the odd time it will slip a bit with 250+wtq. But for a D16 it would work great.

Also look at unorthodox racing clutches. We got one from them for our autocross 87' mr2 supercharged project car. We put in a full-kevlar unsprung race clutch from them. It's an awsome clutch. Has enough slip for comfortable daily driving, and when you dump it....it GRABS LIKE A *****!!!

If you drive this car everyday, I would say you want something close to stock feel, cuz heavy clutches suck for daily traffic.

The centerforce dual friction is definately a heavier clutch than stock clutch....nearly killed my left leg and foot when I used to commute down to north york everyday with my cavalier.

The unorthodox racing clutch in our mr2 still feels stock...even tho it's an unsprung race clutch....

The problem is, if you want a clutch with more grab, they tend to have a heavier feel.

Agreed, the price is great too. And its nice knowing that their clutches are built here in canada....not korea, or offshore somewhere else.

We're using a euro-drive stock replacement clutch in my buddys b20vtec and it is holding up great, and he kicks the living crap out of the car. The clutch grabs nice, and slips a bit when you want it to, the pedal feel is SLIGHTLY heavier than stock....which is good IMO.

I think the Exedy Organic Clutch would be perfect as well. Contact me for a quote.

i'm using the exedy organic in my car right now, its great....picked it up for $370.
I'll be using a euro-drive on my next build though, they'll pretty much custom build you one for your needs.
