Type R motor in a CRX

I plan on putting a Type R motor in my honda crx and I have a few questions. 1 will it fit without major modifications? and 2 I do alot of autocross and want to know if this motor is alot heavier then a b16a because I don't want my car to push to bad?

It will fit without major modifications(the mounts should be identical), especially if you use your exisiting cable transmission from your b16. You will have to convert the wiring in your crx to be AT LEAST OBD1 compatible. Rywire.com sells harnesses to do this.

In regards to handling, it will handle the exact same way with an ITR motor, they are almost identicle in size and weight, ITR engine being just a touch taller so you might have to make some hood modifications.
