For a cheap man's setup:
Turbo - T25 for $150
Turbo manifold - STD $50
Downpipe - see Mandrel Bends
Dumptube - dont' know what htis is... so $0
Intercooler - $50-300 depending on what you want
Wastegate depending if the turbo is internally or not - internal
Blow-off Valve - 1g dsm $50
Intercooler - u need 2? o.O
Intercooler piping - see mandrel Bends
Silicone hoses - $20 at home depot
Clamps - $20 at home depot
Oil feed and return lines - $80 including fittings
Mandrel bends - $150
depending on power goals upgraded fuel injectors
Fuel Management (uberdata, hondata, neptune etc etc) - too expnesive ><
Upgraded Clutch - optional if you take it easy
Boost controller - not needed
Turbo Timer - cheap out and just idle your car before shutting it down
Maybe a Walboro fuel pump - $80
and 1 or 2 steps colder spark plugs - optional
boost guage and a/f guage - $80-100 on ebay
Vacuum hoses - $i don't know o.O
Be cheap and use an FMU - $100
A friend that can weld - $priceless
Totalling all that stuff up: $800 not including IC
Ya.. this is a cheap man's setup.. so if you push it too hard it will probably blow your engine :P and it is not the most efficient
But the price is right

d16y7 and thanks to Rick, I've got a D16Z6 spare block I'm gonna fill with Eagle rods and JE or Wiesco pistons.... 9.0 compression of course! ARP studs and Y8 gasket, I'll be pumping 300 WHP by then. all in due time though

yeah baby... it aint no thang that motor plus Quaife + ACT = low 13s or mid 12s on slicks... gonna alcohol spray it too! 20 psi on race gas for the track. that's STOCK BLOCK, no sleeves! but maybe a STR block guard.

Damn i didnt think you were gonna go that crazy.........my goal is about the same with my stock LS block but ill have almost the same amout of tq as i will have HP:P. Starting to seriously consider a GT28RS just for the amazing power band i would get with it.

chris, i am going to be using the gt28rs this spring when i peice my turbo kit together, that turbo is great for small displacement engines, only downfall is finding an exhaust manifold with a t25 housing.
its also effiecient to 350hp outta the box

yeah and it also will cost over $1000US just for the turbo. If your seriously considering it get it from atpturbo with the T3 drop-in housing so you dont have to go internal wastegate and have a T3 housing instead to mate to the manifold.
Right now im looking at a super 60 T3 or the GT28RS. The difference is about $600Us between the turbos so im leaning towards the super 60 more unless i get a smoking deal on the GT.
