tranny question
this will prolly sound dumb but i've got a 94 civic tranny but how do you tell if its si? or ex? or whatever it may be by phsically looking at it?

also anyone know where you can get a b20 engine w/tranny?

to my knowledge the Si and ex are the same tranny

alright but i mean say its not an si tranny? how do i tell?

you mean Si or LX/DX etc?

The Si (shorter gearing, better acceleration) is the S20, and near the oil filler hole on the tranny will say P20 B000

the LX/DX will say P20 A000

i thought only if it is a american ex, or a 92 ex-v. didn't that car have a z6 in it?

if your car's a EX-V like it says in your sig, then it should have the Si engine and tranny...

It is an EX-V with the Z6 only its AUTOmatic so now i have this tranny and now i know its an Si tranny! thanks!
