marty what kind of rims are you getting?

the usual size is 205/40/17...but you could probably go wider, 215.

I've got 40s' on my 17s' with about a 2 inch drop and I don't think I could get a 45 on without rubbing.
Check out Yokohama Pradas and Nitto as well.

hmmm..interesting
i was browsing thru "tire rack" and screwing around with the "see yer car with wheels" and for every 17" they recommended a 215/45/17

so i can go even wider than the 205 safely to the 215??

sorry guys for all the dopey questions, but this is the first time i've done any wheel mods..

likin' the Yoke's too Jeff..
thanx!!

Jeff..
can you also get a deal on 215/45/17's??
i'd like to run all that i can

215'll gimme better dry traction, and the 45'll gimme the same od..

thanx if you can do anything..

(thinking i'll have to have a look at different rims..this is getting 'spensive )
