Tirerack.com - Did you make any purchase

Did anyone deal with Tirerack.com. Did you pay GST & PST plus some sort of customs charges? How is their shipping charges. Does UPS charge a customs handling fee?

What kinda rims/tires were you looking for? Perhaps someone on the board can find you a set for cheaper in Toronto, so you don't have to pay the extra shipping and duties charges.

i am thinking about ordering a set of Hawk HPS or HP+ brake pads from them also. they are half the price compare to KVR in ottawa. but does anyone know other place in TO i could get those pads?

Try Automotive Import Market on Denison, one block east of Woodbine... also Wheels Direct (McCowan/Sheppard) should have those too, but they've got crappy service.

Thanx. I called Wheels Direct 4 times today for pricing of MM II-2s and each time they promised to get back to me but never happened. They gave me price for 15" spiders tho. $800 including tax. Is this a good price? Great tip, I will try Automotive Import Market tomorrow.

Where is also a good place to buy tires?
