TEG springs in a CIVIC-- yes or no?

ok so my buddy has H&R Sport in his 95 integra, and I have Eibach Sportline on my 98 civic.

he is getting koni reds put in today, and we are thinking while his suspension assembly is apart, why not swap springs??

he wants something softer, and I want something stiffer.. so the swap makes sense. but the question at hand is, WILL THEY FIT? :working:

obviously integra springs are not designed to go in a civic, and vice-versa. but we are thinking why not try it out? I want my civic to be a handling machine!

I've heard of guys putting teg coilovers in their civics, but has anyone ever tried teg SPRINGS??

your thoughts please!!!!

yea they have different part numbers. I called both H&R and Eibach, and neither reccomended doing it. they said to call an installer to see if it would work.

so I called a few shops.. they all said you CAN do it, but b/c of the weight differences b/w tegs and civics, the drops wont' be accurate.

which is heavier?

which is heavier? a rock or a feather? the integra is heavier

the civic springs will make the teg sit lower and vice versa. the ride in the teg probably wont be the greatest but your ride will definetly be stiffer, but probably not as low.

teg H&R race springs drop 2.25. in a civic they drop apprx. 2 inch

honestely i would'nt make the trade unless he had race springs. but even then, your friend is getting the short end of the stick with the civic springs.
