Teg Rad for B16?

Hey..... would it be beneficial to get a teg rad for my 1st gen B16 in a crx?

the temp gauge doesnt show anything abnormal...... but in summer the hood of the car gets DAMN hot

That's prolly due to the proximity of the engine to the hood... I think that's normal Just wait for your rad to blow, then worry about it

When I got my swap - my little civic rad could not keep up.

The first track day we ever went to I drove all the way to St.Thomas with the fu#$ing heater on...

and that day was DAM hot!!

Aftermarket rads are very expensive...

are they bigger or something?
cuz everybdoy i kow they always swap out and get a teg rad. so i was curious
i mean, so what about half-rads with b16? i
i know a couple of people whom have b16 swaps and they still use a half rad, i'm not going ot mention some names for those sleepesr, but they are using half rads.
i dunno, just very puzzled.

if your b16 is in a crx, that means you have a full size rad doesnt it?

so i would think that you wouldnt need a rad from an integra.

IMHO

Yeah, they are twice the size. They extend across the whole ront of the engine bay. You need to do a little replacement of the rad support but not too big a job.

hey Happy B16 your forgetting it's going into a CX-R witch has the full rad

not like your that had the half rad

so there's no need for him to change

just do a good flush and seal

and change the hoses
