get a nice set of shocks on them and you'll agree.. you get the best of both worlds... excellent handling and no having to worry about bumps in the road

I know the mod that B16civic is talking about after thinking about it for awhile took some time before I figured it out but I got it.... one thing though to do it I think there would be too much heat delivered to the shock (not heating the spring but you have to modify the shock houseing for it and I think that would require a welding torch and heat +oil under pressure isn't something I want to mess with

yeah, that's the mod I was thinking of. nice mod!!

jason, no welding required, just grinding in some cases. then slip fit a ring on it. IMO, perfectly safe and acceptable - you should keep the shock cool while grinding by running ice water over the body. but shocks heat up anyways, from brake heat and from inside friction (dampening).

**** that.

i had my car dropped 2" with new front back shocks/springs...not cheap crap either. tokeiko.. (spelling?)

i raised it. tired of playing "dodge the potholes/manholes"

going from dropped to stock. feels so much better on my lower back....

I have 2 Civics in my household. Same year, same model, same colour!! Twins and they are both 5 speed.

One is mine, with modes and Sport suspension and 195/50/15 tires, the other one that my mom drives is bone stock!

I drive the stock one once in a while and man I can't stand it! Its nice ride and comfortable and all but shi*t, its stock! Turns like *** and handles like ***. You can't throw it at the corners at all. I'm already crying that within 3 months my car is gonna be the same and ride stock suspension for winter!

Stock sucks! Modified rocks! (Proper set-up ofcourse...)

I did the strut tower mount mod. Works fine. Honda-tech had a good write up.
