ssautochrome

just wondering who out there HAS ssautochrome turbo kit running

- on what car

- is it good? bad ?

- how is the actual turbo piece itself?

I've heard nothing but horror stories about that crap. Like the compressor housing breaking off the turbo, and their cheap a$$ manifolds breaking.
I would stay away from ssautochrome.

well, any turbine that is glued together at the seam is likely the break... so, any kit similar is still **** IMHO.

my buddy used an ssautochrome turbo manifold and the pipes cracked after about a week, not the welds, the pipe itself.

oh man...ssautochrome is getting a beating

i jsut called my buddy who i havent talked to a while...hes putting his turbo together now....first thing he said is not to get ssautochrome


so it looks like im goin with this kit

good thing? bad thing?..i dont think they are that much extra like cheap ones

greddy makes good kits for beginners. You should get it, better than ssac

isnt greddy limited to its managment system and i heard it cant be altered? is that true?

yo chris...u hear about turbos by turbo specialties before....i cant find anything on them..but its coming up as a brand with other in stores like greddy etc.....edelbrock

good prices too 1200-1500
