Hi

I’m new to the club. What does it mean when the engine rod bearing is spun, and how much does it cost to fix it.
(It’s a 95 b18b)

Basically that means your rod bearings are worn out.. depending how bad it is, it may or may not have damaged the crank.. If the crank is damaged.. You'll most likely have to replace the engine.

I don’t have one.
There is one for sale on clubsi and that’s what it says, so I was just wondering.
How would I check if it has damaged the crank?

Spun means a piece of the rod bearing has broken off and is now circulating around the inside of the engine.. as you drive that little piece of metal is going to tear up your internals, rattling around inside (hence the noise i was asking about) and eat away at the crank... now it might not be a bad case right now but it's only going to get worse, eventually the crank will shatter to pieces and you'll have to buy a new motor.. if you're looking for a motor to rebuild this sounds like a good option.. but if not i suggest you keep looking.
