Some of the mechanics on the site will charge anywhere from $50 to $100 for a spring install. Speedtech charges around $125.

If you've got the time..I'd say do it yourself. It's not that hard + you get the satisfaction of doing it yourself and saving the $$$ for other mods. Ive done suspension installs at my house with hand tools. Its fairly easy the only worry is your LCA bolts..all cars are different.
My bros 98 integra were seized however my 91 rex came out nice and smooth.

No you dont need a compressor but it will be faster, if your LCA bolt is seized an air compressor wont help. Use a reciprocating saw to cut the bolt and just get someone to change the bushing and get a new bolt. Everyone and their grandmother know how to install shocks/springs, I suggest you do em yourself, result the best quality, make sure you get some anti-seize and rent a spring compressor at CT for free.

BTW: If you plan to get rear sway bar later on and you have the model that dont come with RSB, dont bother cutting the bolt just get integra LCAs with RSB hole.

Or get some blingin omni power LCAs if they make them for EGs.

If you have to cut a bolt out, it's a good idea to have a new one from Honda to replace it with. I think it was 5 Bucks or so for mine.

yes you do need a spring compressor. coil springs are under a lot of pressure, just undoing the mount is a stupid idea as the spring will go flying off. also, when installing new springs, its better to compress the new spring aswell so it sits properly.

lol, k, do it how you want, jus make sure when u take it off, u aim it DIRECTLY at ur face, maybe itll knock some sense into you. for the 5 min it takes you to drive to canadian tire and rent one for FREE, its well worth the effort.

you dont need a spring compressor, what is everyone with this freaking canadian tire loan, if you know everything, then you should own a spring compressor because judging by your posts, you have done hundreds of them. I have done tonnes of them without a compressor, it takes too much time to hook it up. Only installing factory length springs really needs one, with an after market spring, they are usually short enough to put the cap on without hassle and in the proper place, ie, lined up. and why would you aim the shock at your face, it is really hard to put a half inch gun on the 14mm nut with it directed away from you!!!
