spark plug wires

spark plug wires

hey my buddy picked me up a new set of ngk wires from a civic 1990 4 door and i got a B16 will the wires work they plug right in with no problems..... will this cause a problem to the B16 i have factory plug wires on it right now ......there no arcing across the wires but i was wanting to switch it up they look to be identical execpt for colour they say R-8 NGK plug wires on the wires its self


thanks just wondering if they will work

i have some bad news i didnt get a relply so on aug 1st i put them on like later that night and i havent had any problems .........YET is this still good or bad what are the sidefects

you can end up blowing your distributor since the wires may not be the correct resistance...its like putting a 25amp fuse in for a 15amp...sure it will work but you risk frying your wiring

I would use the correct length wire for specific engine, even though the plugs are interchangeable.

i got oem wired from acura or 84.99... pretty reasonable.

i understand what you guys are saying but i had to rebuild my B16 dizzy and all i did was buy a used D16a6 dizzy and swap all the guts for it into the B16a1 case.......i've had it on the car for like 4 months

so isnt it the same power if its an si dizzy inside the B16 case so whats the need for a set of B series wires

i know what you mean but the D16 dizzy is the same as a B16 dizzy except for the houseing....

i appreate the comments but i need more to go on i dont want my car to break down or catch on fire but .....
