a reply to the thread is not nessecarily directed at the person that replyed before that...

Bruno was just saying in reference to the kit you posted .. that it's common.. it's available for those cars.... the rest is directed towards the thread starter in my opinion ... Bruno would have to confirm

anyways, yeah... you're making some pretty stupid comments like fast = domestic. I dunno if this is a joke or if you are serious. Either way
Very vague answer considering how many people are involved in the discussion.

Regardless, no harm done.

Why you all getting mad and defenisive when I ask a simple question.... you see Civics, with wings, crazy body kits to make them look like every other car but a Civic, so I simply asked if an actual performance mod could be done. You seem to have an issue against domestics... sounds like a bad experience, maybe one smoking your civics ***, or I'm not sure.

a performance mod does not need to consist of sticking an engine thats not made to be in the car in there and hoping it all holds together...

lots of people build civics for perforamnce look at the results of solo 1 or solo 2 races ... civics perform quite well... and all of them don't have a big v8 messing up wieght ratios and tearing the frame apart...

with civics perforamnce is all about balance... not about high horsepower with no handling.

Well I'm reffering to a crazy modification. Something out of the ordinary. Like the body kits that are out of this world....

"Racing your Civic is like the special olympics, win or loose your still a retard" Now that I think about it, it's kinda funny. lol

That wasn't directly aimed at you, it just felt appropriate to toss that in the conversation while jason and bruno were exercising their right to HEIL HITLER!

I think the reason that you caught so much flak for the question is because it really didn't make any sense. That combined with your comments about domestics being the only way to go fast and the fact that you have virtually no posts makes you look a little bit like a troll. If you want a performance mod comparable to dropping an 5.7L V8 into a civic you could drop a boosted B series engine in. Then you'd have a sick fast car that could still tear it up on the race track. You don't want to add hundreds of pounds to the front of a car, because you won't get any performance gain out of it unless everywhere that you have to drive to is on the same dragstrip.

and finally, just the fact you'd ask a question like that means you haven't a clue about anything, as anyone who would seriously consider this would know what's involved.

mourad, it's all good, I'm sure some ppl haven't seen the V8 focus, that was a worthy reply.

if you want, check out monster miata on google

the V8 volvo I saw in person - that seemed like a natural conversion though - the Volvo is RWD after all.

the Focus I saw in Fast Mustangs & Fords magazine years ago when it first came out (the car, not the magazine)

oh, and most Focus conversions use a lightweight aluminium 5.0 crate motor instead of the cast iron originally found in there.
