hey Goldbadge did you take pics of the front sway bar? I have a 99 EX Sedan I'll take a look at it as well. It would be really nice if I had one!

imported_GoldBadge 21-Jul-2005 10:24 AM

I haven't taken pics. Honestly, my buddy bought a sweet ass michelin low pro jack and I after using it I can't stand using my P.O.S jack any more. But if I'm feeling saucy tonight I might jack her up and snap a pic.

EDIT: that last sentence is in no way meant to sound as sexual as it does.

any updates?

imported_GoldBadge 28-Jul-2005 10:42 AM

imported_Moe_Mentum 03-Aug-2005 10:02 AM

Hey I think your right.. I was just looking under my EX and there does appear to by a font sway bar! Its gotta be a sway bar man from the looks of it. SWEET

imported_cold_fire 03-Aug-2005 10:50 AM

where do you guys get the endlinks for the rear?

Nova_Dust 03-Aug-2005 11:22 AM

Honda dealer.

imported_DoWnGEAR 05-Aug-2005 03:37 PM

I put them on my hatch. For the front you will need SiR front control arms, forks and endlinks. FOr the rear its plug and play. Makes a HUGE difference, i was very happy with the results.

Do the ITR, GS-R, SiR rear sway bars all have the same mounting locations just different diamaters ? Or are they all different?
Just put in SiR suspension on my 98 coupe and I'm wondering what sway bar will mount with the existing holes
Thanx

bbarbulo 08-Aug-2005 10:08 PM

those existing holes will only support a 99-00 sir rear bar BRACKETS. well, GSR too but you need a whole cluster**** of parts to make it work. ITR you have to use a Beaks kit and drill holes

u do have a beaks kit or some sort of support for the ITR rear sway bar on ur car right? cause if u dont.. with the research i found and heard that the sway bar will tear ur subframe apart

EDIT: oops quoted the wrong post hah

imported_alwaysoverkill 22-Jun-2006 06:35 PM

Rear Sway Bar sizes

SIR = 13mm
GSR = 14mm
Del Sol = 15mm I believe
RSX-S = 19mm
USDM ITR and JDM CTR = 22mm
JDM ITR = 23mm

over and including 19mm you better have atleast Beaks Kit. A-Spec Racing makes an amazing piece. I loved the quality of it and the handling of a 23mm RSB with ASR brace.

I also recommend RSX-S end-links too, slightly shorter but much beefier then stock civic SIR/EL endlinks
