Rotor Question

Im lookin to upgrade my Ek hatch with SIR rear disc brakes, but i also wanna upgrade the fronts... so will 98 si front rotors fit on my 98 DX?

thanks

rotors alone, no.

you have to upgrade the complete Si steering knuckle if you want Si sized brakes.

i gotta replace the whole knuckle eh.... hm... maybe it would be simpler just to go with ITR 5 bolt then...

instead of changing all that why dont you just upgrade to the decent brake package one of the affilates is having a sale on? I'm pretty sure you'll notice a different upgrading to cross drilled and sloted rotors with a higher end pad. and its cheaper than replacing the knuckle and brakes

waste of money. pad material yes, but you're gonna chew up rotors like they're nothing.

bottom line is, brakes cost money. that's why I have 4 piston wilwoods.

also, see sig before you recommend x-drilles crap again.

simpler??? how so? you have to do front AND back, do full hydraulics (booster, master, reflare the lines, and do the prop valve), and in addition get new wheels w/ 5 bolt pattern for both summer and winter. not to mention it'll cost you $1200 or more.

just get the SI front knuckles or integra front knuckles, they're cheap, easy and a good improvement.
