I used that tire calculator website, it said my speedometer will be 1.3% slow, but has anybody had any problems with that?
I believe so long as the overall diameter is within 4%+ or - you are okay. The correct size should be 195/55/15 or 205/50/15.

Hmmm... Ya touch choice for the rims... I'll have to see..

Hey B, if I were to get kumho 712 for $460 tax in also including installation and the whole works is that a fair deal?

205/50/15 are great, they work awesome on my car, and they protect the rim very nicely cuz they bulge out past the wheel. $380 for 712 is not a hella deal, but unless you have mad hookups, you won't be able to get a better deal anywhere else. Performance tires rarely ever go "on sale". I would say it's a fair price to pay for a decent tire. But again... $600 for wheels + $400 for tires, that's $1000!!! Tire trends used to have Toyo T1S overproduction tires (195/50/15 - slightly undersized) and Konig Helium wheels, all brand new, with lugs, center caps, chrome valvestems, mounting, balancing... maybe even shipping... for that price. Honestly if I were you, I'd consider seriously some nice aftermarket rims and tires. Buying a package deal you get hella better pricing and you'll end up paying only slightly more for nicer/lighter wheels. consider it

If I were to get nicer rims and tires (probably 16 inches) I would definitely need to drop the car which I'm not ready to do. (Too much $$$ I'd rather spend it on something else).. At least grabbing the 15 sir's will hold me off for a bit. Do I make any sense? lol

well, not really... it's better to buy parts that you REALLY want right away, instead of going to in-between parts "to tie you over". THAT is a huge waste of money. Buy parts you really want right away, things that will be with you for the duration of the time that you keep the car. I'm on my 4th susp and my 4th set of rims at the moment. I lose 50% of the value on average for all used parts I sell. If you work it out, that's a lot of wasted money. Now I'm considering yet another set of rims. These are NOT smart decisions.
