205/40/17 (23.5") is the same size as 205/50/15 in overall diametre (23.1) so besides going 205/40/16 (22.5") or 195/45/15 they are pretty much all the same. wouldn't it be easier to just switch to different springs that raise the car back up some?

also as stated above, remove the 1 clip that holds the fender lining that is directly above the tire. solved my rubbing

see... it solved mine too when I was on 17s with an almost 3 inch drop. I have the liners in still, but not that top clip.

DumbasSi is absolutely correct. The ball is in your court. I get frustrated when ppl ask questions, get an answer, then they keep asking the same question. if only they got dirty for 15 minutes they would see how much sense that advice makes. Print the thread if you have to, take it to your car and remove the wheel, stick your head inside and you will see a clip where the liner meets the fender right at the apex of the wheel arch.

if this clip is not damaged or anything, find out where its rubbing, just look around. then take pics. then post here. then I'll tell you what to do.

whosyodaddy16, wheel spacers are gonna give him more distance from the frame... possibly. but his offset if anything is too positive. the wheel most likely needs to go inside more, so the only way to do that is get a rim repair place to shave the hub surface a lil bit (prolly 1 mm).

most ppl don't even hear the wheel rubbing inside the frame, they can generally only hear the fender getting rubbed. besides, I had a 42 mm offset on mine one time, and it only rubbed off the undercoating on the frame... a 40 mm offset would be further away from the frame so it shouldn't even come close.

LOL 94EG6HB and kieran  I'm not much for customer service when my customers aren't paying me isht :D

Many lowered cars rub the odd time. If it's only when you're parking in wierd lots and never on flat ground, then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just try not to turn your wheel lock to lock and drive slowly when your at a wierd angle.

amen to that.
