your spending price will dictate what you get...

Si (EG) hatch disc conversion
GSR conversion
Type R conversion

or go with other manufacturers such as AEM....

Half the fun of looking into what you want is in the SEARCH not what people tell you to get!

a stock rear disc upgrade will not yeild any major improvements over stopping power over drums..

BUT there are some things you can do to improve braking capabilities if you consider doing a rear disc conversion :

larger master cylinder ( from integra models)
proportional valve (integra or civic with rear discs/ civic si hatch)
stainless steel brake lines
new fluid

the best option for your car would either be using the stock 92-95 rear disc's from the civic hatch, that way you will have no problems with alignment or camber, or you could use the 93-96 acura ls/gs/rs im damn sure the arms are the same.

Is it even worth doing the disc brake swap? I know it looks nice with wheels but is it worth all the trouble?

I think it is worth the money and trouble. I just wish I had my pics on this computer to post of before (drums) and after (discs). Plus (with GSR anyway) braking is improved, which is always a good thing! It will cost you like $600 and a days worth of work with a buddy.

if you are doing an engine upgrade along the way, it only makes sense to be able to stop better when you have the ability to go faster.

You guys forgot one other possiblity for the swap: 2nd gen CRX rear disc swap. Yes it does work. Look up SCC's Project EG Civic.

i would still try to get newer parts (i.e. from an integra) thent he bushings and lines aren't as worn out, and the calipers are typically in better condtion as well

i would use newer integra parts... 94-01 for a proper fit. I know that the DA integra rear LCA's are different then the DC/EG ones, so i would be skeptical about buying the old ones.
