Random ef questions!

Ok. These might sound like no brainers to some, but i have a few quick questions about my ef hatch. My 89 hatch is currently having some problems and I have to replace the distributor. Will a distributor from an Si work with my motor, or do I need one specifically for a dx? Also, if I were to install an Si motor in my dx what do I have to buy in terms of parts for the swap and is it a difficult swap. Would it be possible to install an Si engine without converting to Muti point injection? What about the tranny: I have very small amounts of cash right now, so would my dx tranny work with the Si? or are the ratios different?
Thanks to any and all who can help me out with this info!

you can probably install the Si using the DX intake manifold so that you don't have to convert but I'd be worried about it running lean.....

it would run but it would run like a piece of ****...and if you were planning on getting the SI for a little more punch in your ride it would be pointless without MPFI

get dx/cx dizzy

only crx hf/ civic/crx SI for mpfi conversions..

it has nothing to do with running lean, its the cyl sensor, that will throw the timming out big if you do this..
