I was wondering if anyone has actually tried the ram air idea in their car.. either civic or crx (hopefully crx ) and what the results were... if it was worth the effort and if they ran into an difficulties???

the main problem is making a hole to have the air come in.... the hood would be the best idea area but most people dont wanna carve up there hood

IMO, they are too un-practical.

What about rain? Snow, leaves etc plugging it up, etc. I've seen most have screens, then a passage leading to the air filter, but come'on, no daily driver could make use of this.

We live in Canada, eh.
