Question Problems removing cat on 2000 EX

I wanted to know the best way to bypass the o2 sensor on the cat of my 2000 civic EX. I heard you can soldier a resistor to the two leads of the o2 sensor to fool the computer. If thats the best way does any one know the value of the resistor? Thanks.

dunno the value or anything... but the O2 sensor usually puts out around 0-1 volts... so it can't be too big. You can also get O2 sensor emulators online, check the Subaru WRX forums, since they have 3 cats to remove so they have to hack the O2s pretty good. The resistor mod is in their forums and will likely work just as well for you.
