Question Problem with throttle body?

This just started to happen recently. When i press on the gas pedal it doesn't feel responsive... I've changed the throttle cable so i know it's not that... the next thing i can think of is the throttle body.... is there a way i can make the gas pedal more responsive or check to see if there's any problems with the throttle body?

responsiveness has many factors to it, from ignition retard/advance, to fueling, to restricted air filter...

as rick said, spray some carb cleaner or FI injector cleaner through your tb, and keep the idle up so the engine doesnt stall, use 1/2 to 3/4 the can ... also make sure the cleaner is 02 sensor safe.

Speaking of spraying the TB cleaner, I just did that to my Civic over the weekend, but I didn't use 1/2 bottle. Is that really necessary?
