Pistons

Ok, So the car I just bought spits out blue & white coloured smoke, and alot of people are telling me its the Pistons. One guy said that all I have to do is clean them, how do I do this?

clean the pistons? You could take them out and send them to a machine shop for inspection/cleaning, but its a lot of work to remove pistons, especially with the engine in the car.
If its blowing a lot of smoke it is most likely the piston rings, which you CAN replace with new ones, but i would recommend either just getting another engine or boring your current one and buying oversized pistons/rings to assure a nice clean cylinder wall for the new rings to seal against.
