performance chip?????

Question performance chip and more questions about ecu?

ok i got a b18b1 and i still have the computer from the old motor.

would i need to get then new computer that go's with the b18b1 ???
which would be???

if i chip the new computer should the engine lite go on???? cause the computer was modified or should everything be ok ???

there was some1 also installing chips for $80 but i cant seem to find the link.

if some1 see its could you plz post the link.

no need to chip....just look for the correct ecu.

alrite then but there is still some question unanswered..

i have been using the one for the b18b1 motor but i have to give it back soon and hes trying to charge me alot more for it.
it works fine.

alrite well look at the last numbers on the good ecu u have in your car, theres a sticker on the side of your ecu, on mine it was a p28 but thats from an si motor, yours will be different, look for last three, then u can start asking around if anyone has got one and im pretty sure a chipped ecu does not make the check engine lite come one

just find the right ecu and leave it as it is. Don't chip it.

I have a B18C1 in my car and am using a p28 (si computer) chipped with the GSR program, deviant1 (from the boards) did the chip for me and it works great.
