GOOD FILTRATION.

...and your motor doesn't create sludge, your oil does, and this is one of the huge differences between syn and dino

That being said I can't see myself switch to Amsoil now. I run a tiny little D16Y7. Perhaps if I had something a little better I would but for now dino every 5000k.
Good points illustrating that extended drain intervals are becoming main stream.

It's your call on what you use in your "tiny little engine". Because I'm an Amsoil Dealer, I admit that I'm probably more inclined towards "overkill" than the average guy (weedwacker, riding lawn mower, snowblower, push mower, '05 Civic, '94 Firefly) ... but the way I look at it is that no matter what it is, it's going to last longer with better lubrication ... our Firefly is the "junker", and it's not worth a lot, but if I can get a couple of extra years out of it, so much the better.

Cheers
