Nitrous!!!!!
got a few questions, i am picking up a nitrous kit on friday (NOS) dry 50 shot and I was wondering how easily it should be for my LS engine to handle the power gain? I won't spray it constantly or even on a daily basis so it won't be taking a huge beating but what are the things i should look out for or do to my engine to make it run perfectly for the nitrous.
Also, anyone know of a good shop to get the bottle refilled for when i install it?
thanks

wanna be my test monkey?!?!?! haha....just kidding
I've found this thing called the Moates 2Timer. It allow you to switch between 2 programs at the flick of a switch. Have a stock b18b program on it, and one made for n20 with less timing and more fuel.
I would also use at least a 7 heat range spark plug for n20.
LS + n20 = fun
I've hear bad things about spraying before 3,000rpms, don't know if its true, but i wouldn't want to find out on my car.
I wanna try this on my car b/c i'm gunna use a 75 shot on my b16.

i also know about the WOT but can that be in any gear? like i would never blast it in first and second is kinda short in my car but from 3rd up is it alright to do as long as i can keep up with the shifting and never hit the rev limiter while spraying?
and one more question, whats the best rpm range to use the nitrous at because WOT can be any rpm really but what rpm is the best to use it at and the best to shift gears at to avoid any damage?
thanks alot guys! i need help...lol

just IMO i would make sure the car was running properly cause im sure it would pop way easier especially if it has been run for that long running that rich, you dunno how much damage exactly it has done inside the motor.
just take precausions, zeeman is the man!

bah, on my old gsr setup i was running 125 shot out of the hole.
As for the nitrous, only a couple of thins you gotta remember... heat range 7 plugs, and 2 degrees of timing must be taken otu for ever 75 hp increase. I went 1 and a half but i treat my motors like a 5 dollar viatnamis hooker.
What are you goign to run for fuel pressure

i'm gunna run stock fuel pressure b/c i find stock injectors work best with stock fuel pressure.
Fug:
I can order an extra 2Timer if you wanna try it out. I can tune your car PM me for details.

so is it mandatory to change my plugs with a 50 shot or is that only necessary at 75? and i am also going to buy a purge kit to make sure all the NOS i spray is the good clean shat but any recomendations on which brand of purge kit or where i can even get one locally for somewhat cheap?
