my shocks are leaking, AGAIN

car is an acura 1.6EL on tein stech springs and tockico hp blues shock

brand new shocks and springs were installed last fall on all 4 corners.
after about 6 months, the passenger rear shock started to leaked. drove with a blown shock for 4 months.
went to replace the shock last month, and AFTER A MONTH THE SAME SIDE IS LEAKING AGAIN. LEAKING SHOCK AFTER JUST 2000KMS!

had it up on the hoist, and the guy said the lca is scraping with the shock, suggest i changed the lca because mine is stock. i think thats bs.

btw the stocks where installed without the dust boots and bumpstops cut.

what is my problem here? the other 3 corners seem to be fine, its just the rear passenger side that keeps leaking.

you ever lend your car to anyone?

the LCA cannot scrape against the shock... by definition.

what it COULD be is a bad bushing causing undue movement in the lower control arm, and THAT would cause the shock to leak. the movement as I imagine it would most likely happen front to back. Or the other possibility is if the lower control arm is bent.

was it the same guy who installed the shocks the first time the one to suggest to get a new lca? cuz if so, he prolly damaged something by accident when putting it on, and now wants you to pay to fix it (ie. lca)
