Lower Tie Bar
I have a lower tie bar like this one:
I havnt installed it yet but was wondering how much improvement it helps if installed? Right now Im stock and have a GSR front strut bar, and this lower tie bar.
Is a front strut bar enough or would this help alot?

well it couldn't hurt to slap it on and give it a run..
imo, anything that stiffens up the front end is a good thing..
looks identical to the rear i put on mine..
the front lower i'm after is completely different, that's why the confusion..sorry 'bout that..
i say go for it Matt..
few minutes to slap it on and less to remove it if it proves useless..

Give it to me instead
I noticed a big difference with my rear lower arm bar (Skunk2 ownz). I though it was all in my head but when my buddy drove my car he said he noticed a big difference too.

Matt, the upper and lower tie bars should accomplish two completely different things...the upper ties the unibody together to create a solid platform for the springs to push against. The lower tie bar is supposed to stabilize the lower control arms to reduce wheel hop and deflection. Keeping the lower control arms square improves turn in, road feel, as well as launching. If you have a good bar, this is what it's supposed to accomplish. I really like the Tabanbe/Sustec braces, and the Greddy/CUSCO braces as found at optauto.com

This one is only $76 USD, so about $200 to your door. Talk to Gregg Y and tell him Bruno from Windsor sent you, or just wait for a while and we'll do an order together and save an assload on shipping. This place is in Cali, so shipping isn't cheap.

Oh, generic bars are just for the look IMO... they might make a bit of difference, but I think they can cause more damage than help out. These materials should be carefully chosen to maximize strength and minimize weight. Cusco ones are just solid peices, no pivot points in them. In the pic you see, the Sustec peice is the same way, one solid bar welded up.
Diesel, those are nice bars, I've seen them before. Very nice.

hm.... the only thing I still need is the front lower tie bar, trunk tower bar and the interior room bar
I've already got all the bars I can get ... front tower bar, rear lower tie bar+sway bar, rear trunk tie bar ...
